Statement vs. Question

Next week we are discussing the differences between a statement and a question. We have been working on writing complete sentences. We have never discussed what a statement is.

For one of our literacy centers I have made statement vs. question shamrocks. I have four different groups of words that can be made into both a statement and a question.

At the center each person will have a set of shamrocks and a piece of paper to write both their statements and their questions on!
